Dr Sandro Leite is a highly trained and experienced Otolaryngologist and Head and Neck Surgeon with extensive expertise gained both in New Zealand and internationally. He has completed specialised fellowships in Paediatric ENT, General Otolaryngology, and Salivary Gland Surgery. A Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and a Senior Lecturer at the University of Auckland, Dr Leite is deeply committed to advancing medical research with a PhD focusing on minimally invasive salivary gland surgery (Sialendoscopy).
In addition to his surgical practice, Dr Leite also holds postgraduate qualifications in Occupational Health and Legal/Forensic Medicine. He serves as an Otolaryngologist / Head and Neck Surgeon specialist consultant at Counties Manukau Health, where his clinical interests include General Otolaryngology, Nasal/Sinus Surgery, Lacrimal (tear) ducts, and Salivary Gland Surgery.
Dr Leite runs the Minimally Invasive Salivary Gland Surgery (Sialendoscopy) Clinic at Counties Manukau Health and also runs a dedicated Rhinology clinic.
As a seasoned surgeon, Dr Leite has lectured at numerous international scientific meetings on his areas of specialty. He is also a sought-after faculty member, frequently invited to teach in courses and workshops worldwide.
